Georgia, Birmingham from MarbellaSpotted this day trip on the site and thought I had to try it. I had no idea that Cyprus was that close to Cairo and having never seen the pyrmaids and probably never likely to fly to Egypt for a holiday any time soon this was the perfect opportunity. The pyramids were amazing to see but i wouldnt go inside it was a pretty unpleasant crouched walk to this tomb and pretty dissapointing once we arrived as it looked like the inside my garage at home, I thought they could have at least left the mummy inside! The museum was also extremely interesting and containing such a wealth of valuable history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and got given a big tip by the group at the end of the day. The belly dancing on the Nile is a bit embarrassing so a little tip is to go out the back of the boat, where its open air and you can enjoy the Nile in peace... Do take lots of cash because there are lots of buying opportunities and lots of people trying to sell you things, also make sure you get a good nights sleep beforehand...we had to get up at 5.30 am and it certainly is a long day though afterwards i was happy to sit by the pool and soak up the sun for the rest of my hols. Enjoy!
